Good evening my golden goddess! I hope your mug is at the ready, because boy do I have a top tanning tip for you. So settle down somewhere cosy and I will gleefully spill the tea on Bondi Sands 1 Hour Express Aero Foam. You do not want to miss out on this tanning HACK.

Before I continue I must get something off my chest, and although I am sure this very matter will become crystal clear as I keep sharing my tanning titbits with you, I feel an obligation to be upfront —so here it is... *drum roll* I LOVE Bondi Sands.

Let me elaborate. The colour of Bondi Sands really is just STUN-NING across the tans of theirs I have used. Which I will add is not all of them- so you never know, but as it stands I am in love with the GOLDEN GLOW you are blessed with after you shower.

What makes the 1 Hour Express Aero Foam SO FAB is the DEVELOPING TIME. It can be a last minute tan when you've got a spontaneous night out AND you can use it as your standard over-night tan, so you really are getting your money's worth of the £18.99 it is retailed at.

The bottle explains that (in short) the longer you leave it on the darker your glow will get. According to the back of the bottle, Bondi Sands says in 30 mins you will develop a light tan, 1 hour your tan will be dark and in 2-3 hours your tan will be the 'darkest'.

When I used it last week, I went a big rogue (shocking, I know) and left it on for around 6 hours during the day as I didn't fancy sleeping in my tan, and I was left with a fantastically deep golden tan (see below). But what is so great is if you DO have a last min party plan and can only spare as little as half an hour pre getting glammed up, then you can still get at least a light, sun-kissed glow before you leave the house, without worrying about instant-tan which is just GROUNDBREAKING.

TEXTURALLY, it is lighter than a feather and has a very airy consistency (lighten than the standard Bondi Sands foam)— basically if magical tanning fairies flew up into the heavens, brought back some clouds and used them to create a fake tan THIS would be that tan... is it L-I-G-H-T.

Also, the tan dries very quickly. The BEAUTY of this being that you are able to double up on layers almost immediately after applying the first layer.

The only thing I will say is when you APPLY this tan (and I have found the same with the regular foam) is that there is A LOT of green to be seen. Now although you may start to PANIC at this point, listen to the soothing tones of my imaginary voice. All this means is that you are NOT going to be ORANGE, the green simply means you will be left with a golden glow rather than an orange one (although this is not the case for every tan brand).

Now take a deep breath and repeat after me "I am NOT going to be ORANGE".

As I haven't slept in this tan before I cannot give an accurate BED TRANSFER report, however judging by how quickly the product dries I would imagine it would be pretty bed-proof. Although I found chilling at home for six hours was enough to get me GOOD AND GOLDEN.

I have to be honest, the LONGEVITY of the tan wasn't as great as the standard Bondi Sands foam and by day 3 I did notice the tan had significantly faded. So in this case I would say you could do with a little top-up even if you just leave it on for a couple of hours.

This is something to take into consideration when you're debating between buying tans, because although you get an extremely VERSATILE tan for your pennies, if you DON'T often find yourself stuck for time and are more fussed about making the bottle last as long as possible it may not be the perfect match for you.

Another thing I did forget to mention is that if you are the type to want a natural every-day glow (like myself). Then I think the shade of the tan is perfect and although you can achieve a nice deep glow, it DOESN'T feel overwhelming and does look INCREDIBLY NATURAL -particularly if you are just going to work. It is definitely one to keep in your make-up draw.

All in all, this tan is SOLID SHOUT, with it's developing time and even quicker drying time I would definitely say this is a tanning HACK. I love that you have the freedom not to sleep in it and that you are in control of how it develops; whether you stick to 1 hour or rebel like me and go for six! I would definitely recommend this tan whether it is for last minute plans OR for when you need a mid-week pick-me-up just to make yourself feel lovely.

As always if you have ANY questions about this tan, please do not hesitate to hit me up with a question on the home page OR DM me on Insta which I have put below for you!
